TABLETOP VAPOR-PHASE SOLDERING

Partnertec BV is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with Germany‑based BSC Solder Systems for the sale of their vapor‑phase soldering solutions in the Benelux region.

BSC Solder Systems is a renowned manufacturer of vapor phase soldering systems designed for prototyping and small‑batch production. Their portfolio includes user‑friendly, highly precise tabletop soldering equipment, offered at a remarkably competitive price point and built in Dortmund (Germany).

Vapor phase soldering provides repeatable soldering results for all types of PCBAs, without the risk of overheating—making it an excellent choice for modern electronics manufacturing.

The systems can also be used for the safe removal and re‑soldering of complex SMD components, using the optional desoldering tool.

Why Vapor‑Phase?

Heat is transferred through the condensation of a temperature‑controlled vapor onto the PCBA. This creates a uniform and repeatable heat transfer process, and the soldering temperature can never exceed the boiling point of the working fluid.

For lead‑free soldering, Galden® LS‑230 is typically used—an inert PFPE liquid with a boiling point of 230 °C.

During operation, the boiled fluid generates an oxygen‑free vapor that condenses on the cooler PCBA surface, efficiently transferring its heat energy. After cooling, the vapor returns to its liquid state and flows back into the tank, leaving no contamination on the board.

The result: shiny, reliable, and highly consistent solder joints.

Process Control

With the integrated set of thermocouples, both the board temperature and the chamber temperature can be monitored. This allows precise tuning of the soldering profile to your needs and ensures compliance with IPC standards and solder paste manufacturers’ recommendations.

Available Models

  • Just Solder 460: for PCB sizes up to 460 × 205 mm (or 385 × 265 mm)
